01 / What it is
Two distinct steps. One considered plan.
This treatment combines professional microneedling with PRX Derm Perfexion, WiQo’s topical professional formula containing 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and hydrogen peroxide. Microneedling and the PRX application remain separate clinical steps.
The combination may be discussed for visible texture, tone, hydration, firmness, or early signs of aging. Tatev first reviews your skin, sensitivities, recent treatments, and recovery window to decide whether both steps—or a different option—make sense for you.
01Microneedling
A device-based step planned around the treatment area, skin, and recovery.
02Topical PRX
PRX is professionally applied; it is not presented as an injectable.
03What to discuss
Texture, tone, hydration, firmness, fine lines, and realistic expectations.
04What comes first
An in-person consultation to confirm candidacy, risks, and aftercare.

02 / The appointment
A combination—not two random add-ons.
The two steps are coordinated around the skin in front of us. Treatment depth, topical timing, aftercare, and whether to combine them at all require an individualized decision.
01
Assess
Review skin, sensitivities, medications, recent procedures, and goals.
02
Plan
Confirm the microneedling settings, topical PRX step, alternatives, risks, and home care.
03
Treat
Perform each professional step according to the individualized protocol and observe the skin response.
04
Review
Adjust follow-up only from the individual response—not from a preset package.

Source note
Manufacturer-supplied PRX Derm Perfexion before-and-after document, April 2025. These are PRX examples only and do not predict a PRX + microneedling outcome.
PRX contains TCA. The FDA warns consumers not to purchase or use chemical peel products without appropriate professional supervision because acid concentration and application can lead to serious skin injury.
Microneedling intentionally creates controlled microchannels, and PRX contains TCA. A consultation should address redness, dryness, sensitivity, chemical burns, pigment changes, infection, scarring, healing history, sun protection, and when to seek medical help.
At Tate Aesthetics, this is a planned combination of professional microneedling and a topical PRX Derm Perfexion application. They are distinct steps within one consultation-led skin protocol.
It contains TCA, an acid used in chemical peeling, although WiQo positions PRX Derm Perfexion as a needle-free topical revitalization treatment with limited visible peeling. That distinction does not make it risk-free.
No. PRX is a topical professional product. Microneedling is the separate device-based step; PRX is not described here as an injectable.
Microneedling and an acid-based topical treatment can each affect the skin barrier. Redness, dryness, sensitivity, peeling, pigment changes, infection, or other complications are possible. Your personal recovery cannot be predicted from a website.
There is no universal series. The manufacturer examples on this page include one, four, and five treatment contexts, but they are not a recommendation for you. Tatev must assess your skin, goals, history, and response.
Candidacy requires a clinical review of your skin condition, sensitivities, medications, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and other relevant history. Do not purchase or self-apply high-strength acid products.
Please do not send private medical information by text or social media. This page is educational and does not establish candidacy. Services are subject to individualized clinical assessment.
